The Deacs welcome another Big Four opponent to Truist Field for their final home game of the 2021 season.
WINSTON-SALEM, N.C.- The Wake Forest football team welcomes NC State for their home finale on Saturday, Nov. 13 at 7:30 p.m. inside Truist Field live on ACC Network.
Saturday is the 115th meeting between both programs as the rivalry between the Demon Deacons and Wolfpack is the second longest continuously played series in college football dating back to 1910.
Head coach Dave Clawson looks to earn his fourth win against NC State and improve his record to 4-4 versus the Wolfpack. Wake Forest had won three of the last four matchups against NC State by an average of 14.6 points which included a 44-10 triumph in 2019.
The Deacs head into the home finale as the only team in the nation to score at least 35 points in every contest this season. Overall, Wake Forest's offense is third in the country in scoring offense, while ranking sixth in total offense.
After becoming the first Demon Deacon to throw five touchdowns multiple times in their career against North Carolina, Sam Hartman is tied with Wake Forest Hall of Famer Riley Skinner for the program record with 60 career touchdown throws. Additionally, Hartman is three TDs away from setting the single season record for touchdown passes.
The receiving duo of Jaquarii Roberson (848 yards, 8 touchdowns) and A.T. Perry (845 yards, 10 touchdowns) are the only pair of teammates to rank in the top-15 nationally in receiving touchdowns and top-20 in receiving yards.
