Another exciting season of Wake Forest and ACC football awaits next season at Truist Field.
WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. – While the electric atmosphere from Saturday night's win over NC State inside Truist Field can still be felt across Winston-Salem and the Triad, the victory marked the Demon Deacons's home finale for 2021.
Thanks to the incredible leadership of Coach Dave Clawson and the hard work of his staff and student-athletes, along with the incredible fan support and energy every week inside Truist Field, Wake Forest is 15-2 at home since the start of the 2019 season. Additionally with a perfect 6-0 mark this season, the Deacs recorded their first undefeated home record since 1979. It marks just the third time since Wake Forest's 1970 ACC Championship team that the program has accomplished this feat.
With the continued success of the football program, there is no better time to be at Truist Field! Season ticket deposits for the 2022 season are available now for $50.00. New or existing season ticket holders can visit GoDeacs.com/tickets to make their deposit online, or call the Wake Forest Ticket Office at 336-758-3322 ext. 1 during normal business hours. The Wake Forest Ticket Office is open 8:30am to 5:00pm Monday through Friday.
"What a night," head coach Dave Clawson said in his postgame press conference following Wake Forest's win over NC State. "Just to have all the students and all the fans rush the field. Packed house. It was a big-time college football game and a big-time environment. What a great job by our students, our fans, everybody who showed up."
"On behalf of President Wente, Coach Clawson, our student-athletes and our band and spirit squads, we are grateful to everyone from the Winston-Salem and Wake Forest community for bringing an incredible energy and excitement to Truist Field this season," director of athletics John Currie said. "Our pursuit of providing the Best Fan Experience in North Carolina was validated in that the 2021 season brought two sellouts for the first time since 2017 and back-to-back sellouts for the first time since 2006! Our staff strives each day to help make gameday a fun and enjoyable experience for all and we look forward to seeing Deacon Nation at all our Wake Forest Athletics events this year, including the bowl game!"
