
Morin Garners CoSIDA 2021 Academic All-District Honors

Morin is the first Wake Forest football player to earn Academic All-District honors since Sage Surratt in 2019. Prior to that, Josh Okonye and Ryan Janvion were honored in 2016.

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. -- Wake Forest wide receiver Taylor Morin has been named to the CoSIDA Academic All-District 3 team which recognizes the success of student-athletes both on and off the field.
The Centerville, Va. native is an engineering major with a double minor in entrepreneurship and mathematics, and he carries a 3.95 grade point average. Additionally, he was a member of the 2020 All-ACC Academic Team and Morin is a two-time ACC Academic Honor Roll honoree.
To be eligible for the CoSIDA Academic All-District team, a student-athlete must have at least a 3.3 GPA while being a meaningful contributor on the field in at least their second year at the school. Voting is conducted among sports information directors by region.
Morin, a redshirt freshman wide receiver and punt returner for the Demon Deacons, has totaled 29 catches for 421 yards and four touchdowns this season. His average of 14.5 yards per catch ranks 20th in the Atlantic Coast Conference. Morin has helped Wake Forest's offense score the second-most points in the country and the Deacons also rank in the top-25 in these offensive categories:
