From Coach Hoover
"We are excited to have one of the very best out of Spain coming to Wake Forest and continue our long tradition of having elite level international talent on our team. Her experience playing against some of the best young talent in the world will help make her transition to the ACC smooth and give her the ability to be a contributor for us. Marta is a terrific scorer of the basketball from every level, but especially from behind the arc. She has shown throughout her career that she is one of the best shooters in all of Europe. Marta has a bright future. We are delighted to get to work with someone of her skill level and excited to help her continue to elevate her game here at Wake Forest."
From Morales' High School Coach, Gina Cerezuela
"Marta is a versatile scorer who likes to attack. She will face up, get to the rim and can drive it from the high post. She has good body control and touch around the basket. She has confidence in her shot and especially her three-point shot. This past summer, she showed her three-point ability by winning the three-point contest at the 3x3 U18 World Cup. Marta comes from Siglo XXI, the high-performance center in Spain and has a lot of experience with the Spanish National Team. Marta is well known for her hard work and dedication to the game. Off the court she is really family oriented, which matches the culture of Wake Forest. She will bring a lot of positive and good energy to the team."
