Deacs Hold Second Place Entering Final Day of UCF Challenge

Orlando, Fla. - The Wake Forest women's golf team has a solid hold on the second spot on the leaderboard after the second round of play at the UCF Challenge.
Sophomore Lauren Walsh improved upon her first day by one stroke, shooting a four-under score of 68 to put her in a tie for first place with Houston's Karen Fredgaard. Fellow Sophomore Rachel Kuehn remains inside the top five as well, carding an even-par 72 in the second round. She sits just one stroke off Walsh in third place.
Senior Siyun Liu shot up 14 spots on the leaderboard with her second consecutive score of 72, keeping her at even par for the event.
The final round will begin at 8:00 ET Tuesday morning. Tee times will be announced when made available and will also be available online at Golfstat.com
