WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. -- Wake Forest students will reap the rewards of declining COVID rates and be welcomed back to cheer on their fellow Demon Deacons at Wake Forest sporting events thanks to North Carolina Governor Roy Cooper's executive order raising spectator limits effective this weekend. Wake Forest students will receive the first priority for the newly available attendance space through the Screamin' Demon Rewards and lottery programs which were introduced last fall.

Gov. Cooper announced Wednesday that athletics outdoor venues can now allow 30 percent capacity and indoors 15 percent. Wake Forest will prioritize students for this capacity, along with student-athlete families.

Screamin' Demon Rewards Program & App
Developed in partnership with FanMaker, which is the nation's leading rewards and loyalty program specialist, the Screamin' Demon Rewards program provides a dedicated platform for students to engage with Wake Forest Athletics.

The Screamin' Demon Rewards app is available for both iOS and Android devices and will allow students to digitally check-in when attending events in person, or when watching them virtually. As students attend events, they will earn points, which can then be redeemed in a dedicated prize store for unique prizes, exclusive experiences, and more.

The dedicated app provides students with access to a weekly and season-long leaderboards that show who is attending the most events. Additionally, students will have the opportunity to receive discounts at local Wake Forest Sports Properties partners by showing their Screamin' Demon Rewards App at checkout. Other opportunities for engagement to earn points within the app include exclusive polling and trivia.

Student Tickets Lotteries
The first student ticket lottery of the spring semester will open on Wednesday, Feb. 24 at 5 p.m. for the opportunity to support the Demon Deacons at David F. Couch Ballpark this weekend, beginning Friday as Wake Forest Baseball hosts Notre Dame.

Additional lotteries will be made available in the coming days for students to attend men's basketball vs Georgia Tech on Friday, March 5, as well as upcoming soccer, tennis, volleyball and field hockey events.

For students attending events in person, they will be rewarded with additional Dedicated Deac points for arriving early, and staying until the event concludes. Due to capacity limitations to account for social distancing and other health and safety measures, tickets to attend games this spring will again be allocated through Screamin' Demon Rewards on a weighted ticket lottery system that will be operated on an individual-game basis.

In order to have access to the lottery and attend games this spring, students must activate their Screamin' Demon Rewards account. The more points a student earns throughout the year, the better chance that individual has to win tickets.

This process will provide Athletics staff flexibility to maximize the number of tickets available to students for each game at all Wake Forest venues.

Full details on the student ticket lottery process, including information about the transfer process, group entries and more, can be found here.
