Deacs Close Out Homestand Against NC State

The No. 4 ranked Demon Deacons are in search of their 10th win on the season as they host NC State in an ACC showdown.
WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. -- No. 4 Wake Forest (9-2-0, 1-0-0) will complete a three-game homestand to begin the spring season when the Demon Deacons host NC State (2-7-1, 0-1-0) on Saturday night at Spry Stadium. Kick-off is scheduled for 6 p.m. and the match will be streamed on ACC Network Extra.
The match will be the third regular season meeting between the two schools, as Wake Forest defeated NC State 4-1 on Oct. 3 and 2-0 on Nov. 7.
Fan Information
Spry Stadium will host a limited number of student-athlete families and Wake Forest students inside Spry Stadium and on Walt Chyzowych Alumni Hill for Saturday's match. Parking is available in the public lots across the street from Walt Chyzowych Alumni Hill, and attendees will enter from the Polo Road spectator entrance.
Approved face coverings will be mandatory along with all other social distancing and safety requirements under Wake Forest, Forsyth County and State of North Carolina regulations as we uphold the Show Humanitate standard of our University.
Saturday's game is sold out to the general public and there will be no walk-up sales on gameday. Tickets are available for purchase Wake Forest's next scheduled home match against Louisville on Saturday, March 27.
Wake Forest Students
Wake Forest students will receive priority and free admission for the newly available attendance space through the Screamin' Demon Rewards and lottery programs that were introduced last fall. Students interested in attending soccer games in-person should enter the lottery through the Screamin' Demon Rewards app, beginning 48-hours prior to each game.Students will enter from the south gate main entrance to the stadium from campus.

The Demon Deacons enter the contest No. 4 in the latest United Soccer Coaches rankings, as this week's inclusion marked the 79th-straight week of appearing in the top-25.

Additionally, Wake Forest has appeared in the top-10 of that poll for 59-straight weeks.

The clash will be the 48th all-time meeting between the two ACC schools, with Wake Forest holding a 31-11-5 advantage in the series.
