Wake Forest Announces Updates to Football Staff

Aly Cramond (football assistant), Chris Osgood (assistant director of operations) and Alex Valles (recruiting assistant) have been hired onto Wake Forest’s staff, while Ben Baker was promoted to video coordinator.

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. - Wake Forest's football staff announced the addition of three staff members and the promotion of a current staff for its 2021 staff on Thursday. 

"Ben Baker, Chris Osgood and Alex Valles have done an outstanding job in their previous roles on our staff and their promotions are well-deserved,"  head coach Dave Clawson said. "Additionally, Aly Cramond has hit the ground running with our staff and we are grateful for her daily contributions. Our program is better for having these individuals on our staff as we look to take the next step as a program."

Aly Cramond, Football Operations Assistant 
Aly Cramond serves as an Administrative Coordinator within the football office, helping with the organization and management of the entire football program. She recently completed an internship within football operations during the fall semester of 2020. 

Cramond has a bachelor's degree in child development from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte and a master's degree in sport management from Western Carolina University.

Chris Osgood, Asst. Director Football Ops
Chris Osgood is entering his fifth season as a member of the Wake Forest football staff after working for four seasons as student assistant in operations. He graduated from Wake Forest in December 2020 with a bachelor's degree in economics with a minor in entrepreneurship.

In his new role, Osgood coordinates and executes all team travel logistics for games (bus, airline, security, equipment, food and beverage). He travels in advance of the team to all away game sites to represent Wake Forest Football team and ensure expectations are met. Additionally, he is responsible for all calendars and communication to staff among other duties to serve the program.

Ben Baker, Video Coordinator
Ben Baker enters his sixth season as a member of the Wake Forest football staff, his first as video coordinator. Baker started with the Deacs as a football video intern, and was later promoted in 2017 to video/football operations assistant and assistant director of football operations/director of creative video. 

In his new role, Baker's responsibilities include managing practice and game footage, film exchange with opponents and all in-house technology. Additionally, Baker will be creating and editing weekly highlight videos and assists the recruiting area with the creation and implementation of video graphics.

Baker earned a bachelor's degree in sport management from Central Michigan, as well as a master's degree in health and human performance at Northwestern State in Natchitoches, Louisiana.

Alex Valles, Recruiting Assistant  
Alex Valles starts his second full season with the Deacs this spring, after spending a year as an recruiting intern for the Deacs. Valles new role will see him continuing his work with the recruiting office, while also assisting the coaching staff with personnel on defense. Valles previously served as the wide receivers coach at Endicott College. In addition to his coaching rol,e Valles also spent the 2019 season volunteering in the football recruiting department at Boston College while completing his master's degree in sports administration in 2020. 

Prior to entering coaching, Valles was a two-starter at running back for Georgetown, leading the Hoyas in rushing in 2016. He graduated in 2018 with a bachelor's degree in Psychology with a minor in sociology. He is native of Danvers, Mass.
