Five Demon Deacons Set to Compete at NCAA Singles & Doubles Championships

Wake Forest has a strong presence in Orlando, Fla. with a pair of singles players and a pair of doubles teams vying for the national championships.
WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. -- The Wake Forest women's tennis team will have five representatives at the NCAA Singles and Doubles Championships in Orlando, Fla.
The events begin on Sunday, May 23 and run through the championship matches on Friday, May 28.
Carolyn Campana and Anna Campana earned at-large bids to compete in the 64-player singles draw. The pairings of Brooke Killingsworth and Anna Brylin as well as Carolyn Campana and Eliza Omirou will also compete in the doubles draw as an at-large bid.
This marks the first time since 2005 Wake Forest will have two singles players compete in the draw. Combined, this is the first time in program history that five or more players on the roster will take part in the individual portion of the NCAA Championship.
After being ranked as high as No. 12 in the nation this season, Carolyn Campana earned a national seed as one of the top-16 players in the country.
The Round of 64 Singles Championship begins on Sunday, May 23 while the Round of 32 Doubles Championship starts on Monday, May 24.
