The six All-ACC Academic Team selections are the most in a single year in Wake Forest men’s soccer program history.
GREENSBORO, N.C. -- Six members of Wake Forest men's soccer were named to the All-Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) Academic Team, the league office announced on Wednesday.
Nico Benalcazar, Cole McNally, Andrew Pannenberg, Isaiah Parente, Takuma Suzuki and Garrison Tubbs all garnered the prestigious honor thanks to a combination of academic and athletic achievements during the 2020-21 campaign.
Pannenberg and Parente were also named to the 2019 All-ACC Academic Team.
Academic requirements for selection to the All-ACC Academic Team are a 3.0 grade point average for the previous semester and a 3.0 cumulative average during one's academic career. Athletic achievements during the most recent season are also considered in selecting the All-ACC Academic Team.
