The redshirt junior wide receiver was named a fourth-team preseason All-American by Athlon Sports.
WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. -- For the second time this offseason, Wake Forest redshirt junior wide receiver Jaquarii Roberson was named a Preseason All-America selection.
Athlon Sports rolled out their Preseason All-America selections on Tuesday with Roberson being named to the fourth team by the publication. He was one of just two ACC receivers to earn preseason recognition from Athlon.
After earning second team All-America status from Pro Football Focus following his breakout 2020 campaign, the wide receiver also garnered third team honors from PFF earlier this summer.
He is one of two Demon Deacons to earn preseason All-America honors this offseason after Zach Tom was listed by Phil Steele earlier in the summer. Tom was listed as a fourth team selection by the publication on the offensive line.
Roberson proved he is one of the best wide receivers in the ACC and the country this fall. Roberson ranks in the top 10 in Wake Forest's single season records in receiving yards (926) and receiving touchdowns (8).
Additionally, he tied a program record by finishing the 2020 campaign with four-straight 100-yard receiving yard games. His 102.9 receiving yards per game were a program record and he was the only receiver in the ACC to have an average of over 100 yards in 2020.
