WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. - The wait is over! The Wake Forest football team is set for Opening Night at Truist Field presented by Lowe's Foods against Old Dominion on Friday, Sept. 3 at 7:00 p.m. on ACC Network.
Over the last six seasons, Wake Forest is a perfect 5-0 in non-conference season openers with victories over Utah State (2019), Tulane (2018), Presbyterian (2017), Tulane (2016) and Elon (2015). Additionally, this marks the third-consecutive season the Demon Deacons will open up the season at home and the sixth time overall in the Dave Clawson era.
Overall, the Deacs hold a mark of 6-1 in home openers under Clawson.
