Wake Forest Athletics is updating fan experience enhancements at Spry Stadium as both the men’s and women’s teams welcome conference opponents on Friday.
WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. -- Wake Forest Athletics is committed to providing the Best Fan Experience in North Carolina and has announced enhancement to the Spry Stadium fan policies as both soccer programs welcome Atlantic Coast Conference opponents on Friday night.
"Wake Forest Athletics is constantly seeking feedback from its loyal fans," director of athletics John Currie said. "We are updating our policies to ensure we achieve our goal of providing the Best Fan Experience in North Carolina to watch our undefeated women's soccer team and perennial NCAA Championship contender men's soccer program inside Spry Stadium. The passionate Wake Forest and Winston-Salem community provide the best atmosphere in college soccer."

Fan Policy Updates
Admission for the remainder of the season on Walt Chyzowych Alumni Hill is now FREE and food, drink and pets are now permitted to be brought into the space. Additionally, fans are now permitted to bring their own chairbacks into the stadium bleachers for use in the general admission seating areas.
Fans who previously purchased tickets for the hill have the option to convert their purchase into a contribution to the soccer programs, transition that ticket to be used in the Spry Stadium bleachers, or a refund can be issued.
Competitive Success & Next Up
Wake Forest has created one of the best home atmospheres in the country, as the women's team is undefeated in its last nine appearances at Spry while the men's team is 75-12-6 at home under head coach Bobby Muuss.
Both soccer programs return to action on Friday night, hosting a doubleheader between nationally-ranked programs. Women's soccer will open up ACC play with a 5 p.m. start against No. 7-ranked Virginia while the men's soccer team will host Pitt in a match scheduled to start at 8 p.m.
Wake Forest Students
Wake Forest students will receive priority and free admission for seating within the Spry Stadium bleachers through the Screamin' Demon Rewards ticketing program. Students interested in attending men's or women's soccer games in person should download the Screamin' Demon Rewards app in order to claim their free ticket (one per student), beginning 48-hours prior to each game.
Wake Forest Faculty & Staff
All Wake Forest faculty and staff, including Wake Forest Baptist Health and Atrium staff members, will continue to receive free admission to games during the 2021 campaign by showing their staff ID card at the box office to claim their ticket, while supplies last. These complimentary tickets are available at the box office on game day on a first-come first-served basis until capacity is reached.
For those wanting to guarantee their attendance in case of a sell-out, tickets may be purchased in advance. Wake Forest faculty and staff wishing to purchase reserved chairback season tickets will enjoy 20% off of their purchase and should call the Wake Forest Ticket Office at 336-758-DEAC (3322) to purchase.
Health & Safety Protocols
Wake Forest Athletics works closely with Wake Forest University, Forsyth County and state officials to follow COVID-related guidelines for the safety of fans in attendance at Spry Stadium and all venues. While proof of vaccination is not currently required for spectators, we encourage vaccinations for all. We are proud that nearly 100% of Wake Forest Athletics student-athletes, staff and coaches are vaccinated, as required under University and Athletics policy. Currently, all academic buildings are closed to visitors, and masks are required in all indoor spaces. For additional information regarding steps the University is taking to minimize the risk of COVID-19 transmission on campus, we strongly encourage you to review the University's COVID-19 Notice.
Wake Forest has several gameday guidelines and strategies. First and foremost is required face coverings for all unvaccinated fans in attendance. Additionally, all fans must wear a mask indoors at all times, regardless of vaccination status. Wake Forest Athletics also requires all non-team personnel to be masked at all times inside the field enclosure.
