WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. - The Wake Forest men's basketball program, led by head coach Steve Forbes, has announced its full conference slate for the 2021-22 season.
The Demon Deacons will open their 20-game conference campaign with a road matchup at Virginia Tech on Dec. 4 and close the season with a rivalry game against NC State on March 2 in Lawrence Joel Veterans Memorial Coliseum.
Coach Forbes' ACC home opener will come on Dec. 22 when Boston College travels to Winston-Salem. Following Christmas, Wake Forest will embark on a brief road trip, ending 2021 at Louisville on Dec. 29, and kicking off the new year at Miami on New Year's Day.
The Deacs will then return home for a three-game homestand with marquee games against Florida State on Jan. 4, Syracuse on Jan. 8 and Duke on Jan. 12.
After the homestand, Wake Forest will play three of its next four opponents on the road, starting with road games against Virginia on Jan. 15 and Georgia Tech on Jan. 19. The Deacs will return to LJVM to host North Carolina on Jan. 22 before getting back on the road to face Syracuse in New York on Jan. 29.
The Deacs open the month of February at home for a midweek game against Pittsburgh, followed by a two-game road trip with games against Florida State on Feb. 5 and NC State on Feb. 9.
Wake Forest will close the season playing four of its final six games in the Joel: first against Miami on Feb. 12, second against Notre Dame on Feb. 19, third against Louisville on Feb. 26, and fourth against NC State in the Deacs' home finale on March 2.
The final four home games are broken up by Wake Forest's final road trips to Duke on Feb. 15 and Clemson on Feb. 23.
Ticket Information
There are three easy ticketing options to choose from this year - a full, half or quarter season ticket membership. Within those packages, fans may choose to go with a "FLEX" pass option or choose a traditional season ticket membership.
Introducing FLEX, a New Way to Cheer on Men's Basketball
New this season is the "FLEX" Season Ticket Membership for Wake Forest Men's Basketball. This new ticket experience provides the ultimate fan-focused flexibility and pricing.
At the time of purchase, fans may select the number of games they wish to attend, broken down into: Full Season: 19 Admissions, Half Season: Nine Admissions or Quarter Season: Five Admissions. Each admission counts for one ticket for entry, and members may use the tickets as they desire for the games that best fit their schedule. Members may even use multiple admissions for a single game to bring a friend, family member or guest with them (some restrictions apply). If more admissions are needed, additional admissions may be purchased within the FLEX account.
FLEX season ticket members will simply open their digital FLEX account, and add or remove games as they decide which dates they are able to attend. Seat locations will be assigned at the time a game is redeemed, and not at the start of the season. Seat locations will vary on a game-by-game basis with the FLEX model.
In an effort to provide added flexibility for Deacon Nation and the Best Fan Experience in North Carolina, three FLEX membership options are available to purchase:
For Demon Deacon fans who desire a more traditional season ticket, the same three package options are available as a Full Season, Half Season or Quarter Season membership.
This traditional season ticket membership allows Demon Deacon fans to receive the same seat location for each game they attend and have their seats assigned on priority. Seat selection for Deacon Club members who purchase a Full-Season ticket membership is currently underway; to inquire about selecting your seats during this process please contact the Wake Forest Ticket Office at 336.758.3322 ext 1.
