Kyle Holcomb will look to become the latest Demon Deacon to enter the professional ranks via the MLS SuperDraft.
NEW YORK CITY -- Wake Forest men's soccer's Kyle Holcomb is one of 175 players eligible for selection in the 2022 MLS SuperDraft, which is set to begin at 3 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 11.
The first round of the MLS SuperDraft can be seen on MLSSoccer.com and the league's social media channels while picks in Rounds 2 and 3 will be unveiled here.
Holcomb recently completed a memorable collegiate career at Wake Forest, as he finished his time in Winston-Salem ranking seventh in program history in career goals (33) and ninth in career points (74).
Wake Forest has had a first-round selection in each of the last seven drafts, tied for the longest streak in the country with Syracuse.
Under head coach Bobby Muuss, the Demon Deacons have had 15 first-round picks including 2016 No. 1 pick Jack Harrison.
Expansion club Charlotte FC – the league's 28th team – holds the No. 1 pick this year.
