Complete All-District Honorees

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. -- Four Demon Deacons have been named to the College Sports Communications Academic All-District team which recognizes the success of student-athletes both on and off the field.

Wake Forest's honorees include offensive lineman Michael Jurgens, linebacker Chase Jones, wideout Taylor Morin and defensive tackle Kobie Turner. This marks the second distinction of Morin's career, while it is the first for the other three Demon Deacons.

Additionally, the four All-District honorees mark the most in program history and it also is the fourth time in the Clawson era that multiple players have been named to the All-District team in the same year.

To be eligible for the CoSIDA Academic All-District team, a student-athlete must have at least a 3.3 GPA while being a meaningful contributor on the field in at least their second year at the school. Voting is conducted among sports information directors by region.
