Wake Forest head coach Dave Clawson will sign part of his 10th Demon Deacons recruiting class on Wednesday.
WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. – National Signing Day, a day unlike any other on the calendar, is upon us.
Coach Dave Clawson and are set to take part in the school-record seventh consecutive bowl game later this week, which ranks as the second longest in the ACC and the 12th-longest streak in the nation. Additionally, Coach Clawson owns the school record with four bowl victories and this is tied for seventh in ACC history.
Wake Forest has also set a new standard for success in the win column with a record of 18-8 over the last two seasons. The 18 wins in a two-year period are the second most in school history and three away from the program record of 21 set in 2006 and 2007. Additionally, Wake Forest's 18-8 record is tied for the 10th-best mark in all of Power-5 in the last two seasons.
Thanks to the incredible leadership of Coach Dave Clawson and the hard work of his staff and players, along with the incredible fan support and energy every week inside Truist Field, Wake Forest is 20-4 at home since the start of the 2019 season.
With that, the future of the program will continue to take shape as Wednesday, Dec. 21 marks the early National Signing Day for college football programs across the country.
The National Letters of Intent will begin arriving in Wake Forest's football offices early Wednesday morning. Coverage of all the signees with highlights and complete biographical information will be shared on social media and GoDeacs.com.
