Wake Forest head coach Dave Clawson announced the signing of 19 future Demon Deacons on Wednesday as a part of National Signing Day.
 
"National Signing Day is always an exciting moment for Wake Forest University and our football program," head coach Dave Clawson said. "However, I am most excited for the young men who have chosen to join the Winston-Salem community and our football program as they will make a great impact on the field, in the classroom and in our community. I look forward to coaching all these future Demon Deacons and I am very grateful for the hard work and dedication of our entire staff to put this great recruiting class together."

Deuce Alexander (Hilton Alexander II) | WR | 5-11 | 165 |  Douglasville, GA / Douglas County 
Tallied 105 catches for 1,435 yards and 11 touchdowns over high school career … 2022: Led Douglas County with 52 receptions, 766 yards and six touchdowns and 5 interceptions as a senior in 2022… Averaged over 100 all-purpose yards per game … Led Douglas County to a spot in the 2022 GHSA Class 6A playoffs … 2021: Caught 53 passes for 669 yards and five touchdowns … Led Douglas County to a spot in the 2022 GHSA Class 6A playoffs … Also returned some kicks and punts for the Tigers… 2020: Caught one pass for 15 yards… 2019: Caught first pass of career…Also ran track (sprints) ... 2022: Anchored an offensive line that helped Oakleaf rush for 1,842 yards (7.1 per carry) and 20 rushing touchdowns over the course of the season ... Helped Oakleaf throw for 1,742 yards (174.2 yards per game) ... Team averaged 27.1 points per game during senior season … 2021: Mainstay on Oakleaf's offense that averaged 231.2 rushing yards per game as well as 25 touchdowns on the ground … 2020: Instrumental in Oakleaf's run in Florida's Class 8A State Championships … Helped Oakleaf average just under 450 all-purpose yards per game.

During his senior season in 2022, Egbe rushed for 1,239 rushing yards on 139 carries for an average of 8.9 yards per attempt … Also tallied 15 receptions for 251 yards and he totaled 22 touchdowns … Named First Team All-NEPSAC, First  Team All-Founders and was the Founders League Offensive Player of the Year … As a junior in 2021, he tallied 1,293 rushing yards, averaging 6.5 yards per carry and scored 21 total touchdowns … Ran a personal-best 11.30 in the 100-meter dash and a 23.38 in the 200-meter dash.

During his senior season in 2022, Hall totaled 143 tackles while also recording 21.0 tackles for loss, 5.0 pass break ups and 2.0 sacks…Also played running back scoring 5 touchdowns…Helped his high school reach the semifinals of the AHSAA state playoffs…Set to participate in the AHSAA North South All-Star Game…Tallied 112 total tackles, 24.0 tackles for loss, two interceptions and two sacks as a junior.

During his senior season in 2022, Keyes earned both OHSAA All-State and OHSAA All-District honors while helping lead Ironton to the Division V state football championship… Defensively, he tallied 56 total tackles, 4.0 tackles for loss and 3.0 sacks…Totaled a little over 1,000 rushing yards and 21 touchdowns out of the backfield, totaling 126 points and averaging 6.3 yards per carry…Tallied 152 yards and scored three of the final four touchdowns for Ironton in the win in the 2022 state semifinal game…Ran for over 1,000 yards and 11 touchdowns as a junior on just 94 carries, averaging nearly 11.5 yards per carry.
