Deacs Garner AP All-ACC Honors

A.T. Perry, Sean Maginn and Kobie Turner all earned all-conference honors from the Associated Press.
WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. – Multiple Wake Forest football players earned All-ACC recognition from the Associated Press, as announced by the organization on Tuesday afternoon.
Redshirt junior wide receiver A.T. Perry, redshirt senior offensive lineman Sean Maginn and redshirt senior defensive lineman Kobie Turner were named as AP All-ACC Second Team selections, marking the sixth consecutive year that multiple Deacs have been named to the teams.
In addition to earning AP All-ACC honors, all three players were also named to the official All-ACC team as voted on by media and coaches.
Additionally, Turner was named an All-American by Pro Football Focus, making it five consecutive seasons that a Demon Deacon has earned All-America honors.
WR - A.T. Perry, Wake Forest

Overall for the season, Perry has followed up his Biletnkoff Semifinalist season from a year ago with a stellar campaign. The redshirt junior wideout has totaled 70 catches for 980 yards and 11 touchdowns.

With one touchdown catch on Saturday, redshirt junior wide receiver A.T. Perry has recorded 28 career touchdown receptions, the most by a Demon Deacon wideout in program history.

Perry tied Ricky Proehl's (1986-89) previous program record in the first quarter last week before rewriting the record book with 5:07 remaining in the first half on a 29-yard touchdown pass from Sam Hartman. Perry snagged another touchdown grab late in the first half to give Wake Forest a 24-21 lead.

Named to the Pro Football Focus Midseason All-ACC Team, Turner has been scored at 91.1, which is the third- best overall rating for interior Power 5 defensive players in the entire nation.

In the Deacs win over Army, Turner was graded as Wake Forest's best defender (92.0) by over 10 points and best pass rusher (94.4) by more than 15. That performance landed him on PFF's Week 6 Team of the Week.
