WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. – Kickoff is almost here as the Wake Forest football team is set to begin fall camp on Monday. There is no better time than now to make your plans for the much anticipated 2022 season.
During the second week of the season, the Demon Deacons are taking their talents to Nashville for an exciting matchup against SEC foe Vanderbilt. Begin your plans for the Saturday, Spet. 10 game now as Wake Forest is excited to introduce DEACTOWN Nashville.
The jam-packed weekend provides Wake Forest fans with a unique opportunity to travel to a road game as well as the official kickoff party, tailgate opportunities and transportation to and from Winston-Salem for fans and students. More details on the fun weekend in Nashville are below:
Official Kickoff Party at Pins Mechanical Nashville
Friday, September 9 | 5-8 p.m. CT
The official DEACTOWN Kickoff Party will be at Pins Mechanical, located in the heart of Nashville, from 5 - 8 p.m. CT on Friday, September 9. This can't-miss party is the perfect place to gather with your Wake Forest friends and family in Nashville. There will be light hors d'oeuvres, plenty of on-site games (including duckpin bowling, ping pong, and bocce ball), and Wake Forest "swag" to get ready to cheer on the Deacs Saturday morning. All in the Wake Forest family are invited to join the party!
Guest registration includes two drink tickets, redeemable for alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. Ticket prices are $30 for alumni, parents, and friends, $20 for children ages 6-12, and current WFU students. Children five and under do not need a ticket to attend. Advance registration closes on Wednesday, September 7, at 1 p.m. ET/12 p.m. CT.
Southern Spoon food truck will be on-site, with plenty of delicious meal options available for purchase. Additional drinks may be purchased at the cashless bar.
