WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. -- After countless accomplishments and memories created on and off the field of competition, the 2021-22 competitive year is over for the Wake Forest Demon Deacons.
Remarkably, every Demon Deacon spring team reached NCAA play and won a game, match or advanced on from regional competition to nationals. To have 14 of our 18 programs qualify for postseason action, while also adding two more championships to our 55 ACC team titles, is a credit to Wake Forest's coaches and student-athletes as it reflects the University-wide commitment to the vision of being A Model Intercollegiate Athletics Program and achieving the five core goals AD John Currie first unveiled back on Aug. 7, 2019. Collectively, Wake Forest was 31-30-1 against our Big 4 rivals this academic year and we swept the Wolfpack in football, men's basketball and baseball in regular season action.
