Alex Fitzpatrick Ended off his Season and Earned his 23/24 European Tour Card

Wake Forest Alumni, Alex Fitzpatrick earns his European Tour Card as the season ends.
WINSTON-SALEM, N.C.- Wake Forest Alumni, Alex Fitzpatrick, capped off his season by earning his European Tour Card. The Sheffield, England native continues to shine in his professional career after an amazing four seasons at Wake Forest.
Fitzpatrick has made 15 top-25 finishes to start off his professional career. Six of those finishes were in the top-10. During the British Challenge, Fitzpatrick shot a 276 (-12) to take home his first career victory on the professional level.
During his first year, Fitzpatrick competed in 14 DP Tour events. After a strong end to his first year as a professional, Fitzpatrick earned his DP Tour card for the 2023/24 season.
Before joining the Challenge Tour, Fitzpatrick was a two-time All-American, three-time All-Region, 2021 Fred Haskins Award Finalist and 2021 Ben Hogan Award Finalist. Fitzpatrick also competed in the 2021 Walker Cup for Great Britain/Ireland.
During his time in Winston-Salem, Fitzpatrick earned his first collegiate victory at the Valspar Collegiate. With his exemption, Fitzpatrick would go on to make his PGA Tour debut at the Valspar Invitational in 2022.
During his senior season, the Sheffield, England native captured his second career victory while helping the Deacs take home the team title at the Old Town Club Collegiate Invitational. At the end of his Wake Forest career, Fitzpatrick ranked third in program history boasting a 70.94 career stroke average.
Fitzpatrick played a vital role in taking home the ACC Championship during the 2022 season. At the end of 18 holes, Fitzpatrick secured the victory over Georgia Tech in extra holes to clinch the 19th ACC title in program history.
