Six Demon Deacon Student-Athletes Inducted into Prestigious Omicron Delta Kappa

Wake Forest University student-athletes from baseball, track & field/cross country, football, women’s track, women’s soccer and volleyball have been selected for the honor society.
WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. - Six Wake Forest University student-athletes were inducted on Nov. 15, 2023 into the prestigious Omicron Delta Kappa National Leadership Honor Society.
Michael Massey (baseball), Laine DeNatale (women's soccer), Dylan Hazen (football), Brooke Killingsworth (women's tennis), Addison Berry (track & field/cross country) and Ashley Slater (volleyball) represent a diverse group of Wake Forest student-athletes in being inducted into Omicron Delta Kappa.
"These six individuals represent Wake Forest University and their sport-specific programs with excellence in all facets of their lives and the news of them being inducted into the Omicron Delta Kappa National Leadership Honor Society is confirmation of the positive impact they have in the classroom and our community at Wake Forest," Sr. Associate AD Jane Caldwell said. "I am grateful to the ODK leadership for their recognition of these six student-athletes."
Founded in 1914 at Washington and Lee University, Omicron Delta Kappa honors and develops leaders through scholarships, workshops, career development, leadership resources, and a lifelong connection to other members.
The Society also champions its leadership values of collaboration, inclusivity, integrity, scholarship, and service.
Omicron Delta Kappa encourages members to represent five pillars of leadership: academics and research, athletics, service to campus and community, communications and creative and performing arts.
