  • Women's Basketball: 
    • The  Deacs' Opening Night victory over Wofford marked Wake Forest's 17th-consecutive season-opening home win, dating back to the 2007-08 campaign.
      • Individually, the Deacs were led by redshirt sophomore forward Malaya Cowles who tallied 19 points and seven rebounds, while shooting a stellar 8-of-12 from the floor, finishing just one point shy of her career-high set against ETSU during the 2021-22 season. Redshirt freshman guard Kate Deeble notched a career-high 19 points in her first-career start.
      • The Deacs made 30 field goals against the Terriers, marking the most in a single game since the victory over Longwood last season (Dec. 15, 2022).
    • The Demon Deacons will hit the road for the first time this season, as they take on Davidson on Saturday, Nov. 11. 
      • Tipoff is scheduled for 1 p.m., and the game will be streamed on ESPN+. 
  • Women's Golf: 
    • The women's golf team finished its fall season last week winning the prestigious East Lake Cup in Atlanta. 
    • The Deacs completed the fall ranked No. 1 in the country with three team titles, including East Lake, the Jackson T. Stephens Cup and the Schooner Classic. 
    • Wake Forest will open the spring slate Feb. 6-8 at the Therese Hession Regional in Palos Verdes, California. 
  • Volleyball:
    • The first of Wake Forest's final two home showings is up on Friday evening, as the team will host North Carolina at 7 p.m.
    • The Demon Demons are 17-8 overall on the year with an 8-6 mark against ACC competition.
    • Friday's matchup will be Wake Forest's second against the Tar Heels in six days, fresh off a five-set comeback victory this past Sunday (Nov. 10).
    • Senior Night headlines the evening, as a post-match ceremony in Varsity Arena will honor nine Deacs for all they have contributed to the program.
    • Wake Forest has posted back-to-back seasons of at least 17 wins – its best since 2000-01.
  • Women's Cross Country: 
    • Wake Forest is gearing up for the NCAA Southeast Regional on Friday, Nov. 7. The Demon Deacons must finish in the top-two to qualify for the NCAA Championships.
      • Currently, the Deacs are ranked sixth in the Southeast Region.
    • Reaching the NCAA Championships would mark the program's first appearance since 2006.
