  • Women's Soccer:

    • Following a victory over App State and a draw with Army during the opening week of the 2023 season, the Demon Deacons will look to remain unbeaten when they host Idaho State this Thursday (Aug. 24) at 1 p.m. at Spry Stadium. Three days later, the Deacs will hit the road to face Big 10 foe Purdue on Sunday at 1 p.m. ET.

    • Through their first two matches, the Deacs have been led by junior forward Nikayla Small, as she notched an assist on both of Wake Forest's goals this season. Defensively, Wake Forest has relinquished only 12 shots with nine coming on target.

    • As a unit, the Deacs have accumulated 39 total shots and 14 shots on goal over the first two matches.

    • Demon Deacon volleyball officially returns this weekend, as Wake Forest prepares to kick off its 2023 fall campaign with a three-day invitational in Varsity Arena within Reynolds Gymnasium (Aug. 25-27).

    • A four-team field makes up the event, including the host Deacs, Toledo, Northeastern and Grand Canyon.

    • Admission is free for all matches inside Varsity Arena. Additionally, those unable to attend can tune into each of the Deacons' matches on ACC Network Extra.
