Kickoff between the Demon Deacons and Yellow Jackets will be at 6:30 p.m. at Allegacy Federal Credit Union Stadium as the nationally televised CW Game of the Week.
WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. – With the Demon Deacons off to a perfect 2-0 start, the excitement of the ACC's highest scoring offense over the last six years, and a Wake Forest defense that has forced five turnovers through two games, the Wake Forest and Winston-Salem community is taking full advantage of the opportunity to see the winningest program in the state of North Carolina.
Following a road contest at noon on Saturday at Old Dominion that will be broadcast on ESPN2, Wake Forest's returns to Allegacy Federal Credit Union Stadium on Sept. 23 for a 6:30 p.m. kickoff against Georgia Tech and the contest is sold out!
That will mark the Deacs eighth sellout since the 2021 and it marks the second-straight year that Wake Forest has sold out three-consecutive games in a season.
Additionally, next Saturday will mark the Yellow Jackets first visit to Winston-Salem since 2010.
Wake Forest is an astounding 22-4 inside the friendly confines of Allegacy Stadium since the start of the 2019 season. That winning percentage (.846) ranks second in the ACC during that span, trailing just Clemson.
