CHARLOTTE, N.C. - The Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) has announced the full schedule for league play during the 2023-24 season. Wake Forest will host 10 conference opponents inside Lawrence Joel Veterans Memorial Coliseum (LJVM) this season, including Big Four opponents Duke and NC State.
With the non-conference schedule having been released in July, the full 2023-24 Wake Forest men's basketball schedule is now complete.
Following the conclusion of the non-conference slate, Wake Forest will open conference play inside LJVM with a weekend matchup against the Virginia Tech Hokies on Dec. 30. The Deacs will start the New Year on the road with a midweek matchup at Boston College on Jan. 2 before hosting the Miami Hurricanes (Jan. 6).
Wake Forest will hit the road again on Jan. 9 to face the Florida State Seminoles in Tallahassee before turning around to host the Virginia Cavaliers inside LJVM on Jan. 13. Another midweek matchup on the road at NC State (Jan. 16) will mark the first Big Four contest of the season.
After hosting Louisville at LJVM on Jan. 20, the Deacs will have back-to-back road games for the first time in conference play, with a Monday matchup in Chapel Hill (Jan. 22) and a Wednesday road game at Pitt just over a week later (Jan. 31).
The Deacs will open February inside LJVM against Syracuse on Feb. 3 before traveling to Atlanta to face Georgia Tech Feb. 6. The second of the two matches against NC State will be in LJVM on Feb. 10 before the team travels down Tobacco Road to Durham for the first of two matchups against the Duke Blue Devils (Feb. 12).
Road play will continue for the Deacs as they'll go from Durham to Charlottesville to face Virginia (Feb. 17). Wake Forest will have back-to-back home league games for the first time the following week when the squad hosts Pitt (Feb. 20) and Duke (Feb. 24). The team will close out February and open March on the road with a Feb. 27 matchup at Notre Dame and a March 2 contest at Virginia Tech.
Wake Forest will close out the regular season inside LJVM with back-to-back home games against Georgia Tech on March 5 and Clemson on March 9.
The 2024 ACC Men's Basketball Tournament will be held in Washington, D.C. from March 12-16.
