Hinds to Miss 2023-24 Season Due to Injury

Due to a preseason injury, senior forward Demeara Hinds will miss the 2023-24 season with the intention of using a medical redshirt and having two years of eligibility remaining.
WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. – Due to a preseason injury, Wake Forest senior forward Demeara Hinds will miss the 2023-24 season with the intention of using a medical redshirt and having two years of eligibility remaining.
Her other year of eligibility comes from the COVID-shortened 2020-21 season.
Last season, she averaged a career-best 5.9 points while also leading the team with 6.6 rebounds per game and a 49.7 percent shooting percentage. Over the course of her first three seasons she has totaled 274 points (3.5 per game) and 367 rebounds (4.7 per game).
