- Women's Soccer:
- In one of the most dominant performances of the 2024 campaign, the No. 4-ranked Wake Forest women's soccer team took down reigning national champions and No. 6-ranked Florida State Thursday evening at Spry Stadium.
- With the win, the Demon Deacons broke the record for longest home unbeaten streak in program history at 15 matches. Spry Stadium has been a fortress for the Demon Deacons over the last three seasons, as Wake Forest has posted a stellar 16-2-6 record at home since the start of 2022.
- The win also ended Florida State's nation-leading 32-match unbeaten streak. Additionally, Wake Forest now leads the all-time series with the Seminoles, 14-13-5 dating back to 1995. It was the first win for the Demon Deacons in the series since 2017.
- Wake Forest will have two weeks off before hitting the road for another ACC battle with newcomers SMU on Saturday, Oct. 19 at 7 p.m. eastern in Dallas.

- Field Hockey:
- Coming off a 6-0 victory over Davidson on Sunday where the Deacs scored three goals in less than three minutes, Wake Forest closes out a five-game home stand against No. 12 Duke on Friday and Louisville on Sunday.
- First touch against the Blue Devils is set for 5 p.m. on ACC Network Extra.
- The match will serve as the annual Pink Out game where fans in attendance will receive free pink rally towels and a fanny pack courtesy Truist.
- Sunday's match against the Cardinal is scheduled for 1 p.m. on ACC Network Extra.
- The match will serve as Taylor Swift Day where fans in attendance will be able to make their own friendship bracelets at the Fan Experience table located on the concourse.
- Volleyball:
- The Deacs return home for a pair of Big Four matches this weekend, bringing in Duke for a Friday evening matchup at 7 p.m. before facing North Carolina on Sunday afternoon at 3:30 p.m.
- The program's annual Dig Pink Match headlines Friday, as fans are encouraged to wear pink. Additionally, a pink rally towel giveaway will be featured.
- On Sunday, the contest will include a Pride theme, along with a keychain giveaway.
- Most recently, Wake Forest traveled to the West Coast for its first ACC road matches, visiting Cal and Stanford.
- The Deacons routed the Golden Bears in a 3-0 victory – securing their third sweep of the season.
- Cross Country:
- The Wake Forest women's cross country squad is set to compete in the Royals XC Challenge in Charlotte, N.C. on Friday, Oct. 11.
- Last time out the team secured a 17th-place finish ahead of No. 24 Northwestern and No. 30 Iowa State with 416 points at the highly competitive 6k Nuttycombe Invitational on September 27th.
- The women's gold 5k is slated to begin at 5:05 p.m. Live results can be found here.
