Fifteen dollars of every promotional ticket sold for the Deacs men’s basketball game against Western Carolina on Tuesday, Nov. 19 and football’s game against Duke on Saturday, Nov. 30 will go directly to the North Carolina Disaster Relief Fund.

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. – In the continued effort to Show Humanitate following the lead of all those in the Wake Forest University community, Athletics is doing its part to support the relief efforts for all those impacted by Hurricane Helene in Western North Carolina.

For the home football finale against Duke on Saturday, Nov. 30, at Allegacy Stadium and Wake's men's hoops game against Western Carolina on Tuesday, Nov. 19, inside Joel Coliseum, $15 of every promotional ticket sold through the previous links provided will go directly to the North Carolina Disaster Relief Fund.

This is in line with Wake Forest University's recent announcement of a Community Day of Action in service of Hurricane Helene relief on Saturday, Nov. 16.

More information about the entire relief efforts by all those in the University community can be found here.

Not to be overlooked, the Wake Forest Athletics concessions and catering partner, Proof of the Pudding, has gone above and beyond since Hurricane Helene rolled through the western part of the state — since Oct. 7 they have prepared and staged tens of thousands of fresh boxed lunches and hot breakfasts and dinners for emergency management services and disaster recovery workers using the kitchen and storage facilities at Allegacy Stadium and David F. Couch Ballpark.

Of this specific work, Vice President & Director of Athletics John Currie said: "It's an honor to be able to serve our western North Carolina neighbors by utilizing the kitchens of Allegacy Stadium and David F. Couch Ballpark kitchens to produce meals for the relief effort in the aftermath of Hurricane Helene. We appreciate our partner Proof in the Pudding's service, which is another representation of the Pro Humanitate spirit of Wake Forest University."
