Deacs add highly-touted signee from Wilmington, North Carolina
WINSTON-SALEM, N.C.- The Wake Forest men's golf program announced the signing of Maddux Cook during National Signing Day on Wednesday.
Cook's high-level talents have helped him excel as a junior golfer, and is set to join the Demon Deacons in the fall of 2025.
"Maddux will make an immediate impact as a starter, and has already played well in pro events. He is a wonderful putter, with length and accuracy being the strengths of his game. Maddux works with instructor Jason Widener (1988 U.S.G.A. Junior Amateur Champion), and his impeccable fundamentals make him a great player. We are very excited to see what he will be able to accomplish in our program. Go Deacs!", said head coach Jerry Haas.
