Know Before You Go: Demon Deacons at North Carolina on Saturday

CHAPEL HILL, N.C. – Wake Forest fans traveling to Chapel Hill for the team's road Big Four contest should be aware of gameday initiatives and policies in place at and around Kenan Stadium. Kickoff is scheduled for 8 p.m. ET on Saturday, Nov. 16.

Gameday Timeline

4:00 p.m. - Kick Off Club & tailgating open
5:00 p.m. - Coca-Cola Fan Zone opens
6:30 p.m. - Main Gates Open
8 p.m. - Kickoff

Digital Ticketing
With an increased emphasis in safety, security and convenience for fans, Carolina Athletics has transitioned to digital tickets for all athletic events. Tickets for Saturday can be purchased by clicking HERE.

All ticket purchasers will receive their tickets via email, allowing them to be downloaded to their Apple Waller (iPhone) or Google Pay Wallet (Android) prior to arrival. Prior to entering gates, ticketholders should ensure their tickets are downloaded and available to be scanned by ticket pedestal or the hand ticket scanner at gates. It is strongly recommended to download tickets prior to approaching the stadium gates.

- The pricing for these lots is $25, which can be paid by Visa, MasterCard, Discover, Apple Pay, or Google Pay.
- Pre-Paid parking lots are available for purchase online in advance of the game. Purchase parking then display on phone or printed permit when entering lot. Pre-paid public permits are valid for one-time use and scanned at entry. Pre-Paid parking permits can be purchased for $20 plus convenience fee.

Clear Bag Policy
The following items will be allowed into Kenan Stadium:

Any clear plastic or vinyl bag no longer than 12" x 6" x 12", including gallon freezer bags.
Small Clutch purses no larger than 4.5" x 6.5".
Necessary medical items following inspection at entry gates.
Up to two unopened 20 ounce or smaller bottles of water per person and empty drink containers that can be filled up at drinking fountains.
Exceptions: camera bags, binocular cases, seat cushions with pockets, and clear backpacks (if they aren't larger than the dimensions)
All prohibited items must be returned to your vehicles or discarded at the gates.

Cashless Transactions
As instituted in 2021, food and merchandise transactions will continue to be cashless. This limits the contact between guests and employees, and improves the flow and speed of transactions to help reduce wait times. Accepted payment options include, but are not limited to, Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, and Apple Pay.

First Aid/Emergency Medical Services
South Orange Rescue Squad provides first aid at Gate 2 (on the north side) and Gate 6 (on the south side) of Kenan Stadium and adequate response teams to address issues throughout the stadium.

Guest Services
Guest Services are available at Gates 2 & 6 in Kenan Stadium.

Tar Heel Express Gameday Shuttles

Chapel Hill Transit provides the Tar Heel Express shuttle service. The cost of a pass to ride the Tar Heel Express is $5 round-trip (cashless purchases only; Google Pay, Apple Pay & all major credit cards accepted). No parking fee is charged for any Tar Heel Express pick-up lot, though parking is not available at the Carolina Coffee Shop location. Buses depart every 10-15 minutes or when full. They run continuously until game time.
The Friday Center location begins running three hours before kickoff.
Southern Village and Carolina Coffee Shop locations begin running 1.5 hours before kickoff.
Following the game, all Tar Heel Express buses run continuously for approximately 45 minutes.
