From the Staff
"What a tremendous group of young men! They fought hard to finish in the top four and just fell short in the final 500 meters. These guys care very much about each other and it showed out there today. I'm incredibly proud of them and I'm excited about the journey going forward. " - Director of Track & Field and Cross Country John Hayes
"Really proud of the way the guys battled today. They put themselves up front and in contention for the podium early on and just faded the last 1k. We've had some adversity since conference, but the guys never stopped believing in themselves or each other and they ran like that today." - Assistant Coach Brandon Hazouri
