The addition comes on the heels of the signing of 23 future Demon Deacons with 19 high school prospects signing National Letters of Intent as a part of National Signing Day on Wednesday, December 20 and three additions during January.
WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. – Wake Forest head coach Dave Clawson announced the signing of running back Ty Clark III Wednesday morning.
The addition comes on the heels of the signing of 22 future Demon Deacons with 19 high school prospects signing National Letters of Intent as a part of National Signing Day on Wednesday, December 20.
Additionally, Clawson announced the signing of transfer defensive back Capone Blue on Wednesday, January 3 and the signing of transfer defensive lineman Mateen Ibirogba and incoming freshman wide receiver EJ Reid on Monday, January 15.

Rated as the No. 25 all-purpose back in the country according to Rivals.com…Rushed for 1,800 yards in each of his last two seasons and totaled 59 rushing scores… two-time (2022-23) Division II 2A Offensive MvP and All-State Selection… Named a team captain for his senior year… Additionally, he averaged 9.5 yards per carry and scored 32 touchdowns on the ground and did not fumble the football… Named a 2023 finalist for the Tennessee Titans Mr. Football… Finished his junior season with 210 carries for 1,805 yards with 31 touchdowns… Recorded 18 receptions for 271 with one touchdown catch during his senior season… Finished his sophomore season with 31 carries for 331 yards with two rushing touchdowns… During his freshman season he recorded 10 carries for 77 yards with two rushing touchdowns… Led Franklin Road Academy to an 11-2 record during his senior season and 10-2 during his junior season.
