- Women's Golf:
- The No. 2-ranked Wake Forest women's golf team finished in third place at the NCAA Regional at Bermuda Run Country Club last week, and graduate Rachel Kuehn took the top individual spot.
- With the top-five finish, the Deacs punched their ticket to the 2024 NCAA Championships in Carlsbad, Calif. It will mark the 20th appearance in the Championship for the program and the sixth-straight. Wake Forest will travel to the west coast as the reigning NCAA Champion.
- The 2024 NCAA Championships will be held at the Omni La Costa Resort in Carlsbad, California, May 17-22.
- Track & Field/Cross Country:
- The Wake Forest women's track & field team had three student-athletes earn first-team All-ACC honors at the 2024 ACC Outdoor Track & Field Championships.
- Women's discus - 2nd - Leia Braunagel - personal-best, longest discus throw in Wake Forest history
- Women's shot put - 3rd - Ashlyn Giles - 16.65m, season-best, longest shot put throw in Wake Forest history
- Women's long jump - 3rd - Robbie Grace - 6.27m -
- Additionally, three Deacs garnered second-team All-ACC honors in Atlanta.
- Women's discus - 4th - Ashlyn Giles - 53.13m - personal-best, second-longest throw in Wake Forest history
- Women's heptathlon - 5th - Addison Berry - 5,071 pts
- Women's hammer - 5th - Megan Cook - 58.58m
- The Deacs had one of the most efficient teams with 13 women scoring 37 points over the weekend in Atlanta.
- The Demon Deacons look to Lexington, Ky., where the University of Kentucky will be hosting the 2024 NCAA Outdoor First Round East Regionals.
- The Wake Forest women's track & field team had three student-athletes earn first-team All-ACC honors at the 2024 ACC Outdoor Track & Field Championships.
- Volleyball:
- Wake Forest volleyball's 2024 schedule has been unveiled!
- A total of 31 matches compose the Demon Deacons' fall slate, including participation in four invitationals during the non-conference portion.
- Admission is free for all home matches held inside Varsity Arena, located in Reynolds Gymnasium.
- The Deacs will open the fall with an Aug. 30 home contest against Hofstra – the first of a three-match weekend during the team's annual, season-opening hosted invitational.
- Action with West Virginia and Navy will follow during the three days in Winston-Salem.
- Fans will have 15 opportunities to support Wake Forest at home during the 2024 campaign.
- This past season, the Deacs finished 17-12 overall, marking the first time the program has posted back-to-back seasons of 17 or more wins since 2000-01.
- Wake Forest also tallied eight wins in ACC play, marking the second consecutive years of at least eight victories against conference opponents. That such feat was a first for Wake Forest throughout program history since 2009-10.
