This year, Demon Deacon women's soccer will host 2023 National Champion Florida State, 2023 National Championship runner up Stanford, 2023 NCAA Tournament team Mississippi State and Big Four foes Duke and NC State in a loaded home slate.
On the men's side, Wake Forest renews a longtime series with Virginia, faces Big Four opponent NC State for Senior Night and hosts Boston College and Virginia Tech for the program's Alumni Weekend and Genna Wiley Memorial Match respectively.The Demon Deacons will also host Elon in their second-annual Mental Health Awareness Match

Since Bobby Muuss took over as head coach of Wake Forest men's soccer prior to the 2015 season, the Demon Deacons' success at Spry is simply unmatched.
Over the last nine years, Wake Forest ranks No. 1 in the country in total home wins (102) and is the only program nationally with more than 100 home victories during that span. The Deacs have won at least eight home matches each of the last nine seasons and the team's 82.5 percent home winning percentage ranks third in the nation and is the highest mark within the ACC.

Last season, the Wake Forest women's soccer team ended the regular season unbeaten at home for the second time in program history, with the only other instance coming in 2007 when the Deacs posted a 6-0-2 ledger at home.

- The Demon Deacons enter the 2024 season off an ACC-best 13th consecutive NCAA Tournament appearance. The 13-straight NCAA Tournament appearances ranks as the second-longest streak nationally and is eight years longer than all other ACC programs.
- During the 2023 season, Wake Forest captured its fifth ACC Atlantic Division title in nine seasons. During the 10 years of the ACC's divisional format, Wake Forest's five titles were most in the conference.
- Entering the 2024 season, Wake Forest's 140 total victories since 2015 tops the nation and is 14 more than any other ACC program.
- Along with a talented senior class that entered Wake Forest as TopDrawerSoccer's No. 1 recruiting class in 2021, Prince Amponsah, Colin Thomas, Cristian Escribano and Sidney Paris are returning for their fifth seasons.
- Wake Forest's incoming recruiting class currently ranks as TopDrawerSoccer's No. 4 2024 recruiting class. In addition to 10 incoming freshmen, All-Big East selection Pierce Bateson and 2022 A-10 Rookie of the Year Basit Umar transferred into the program.
- In addition to hosting Virginia, NC State, Boston College and Virginia Tech in ACC home action, the Demon Deacons will welcome VCU, Central Arkansas, Radford, Elon, ETSU and Wofford to Spry Stadium this season.
- Wake Forest returns 30 players from a season ago, including seven who made 15 or more starts and 17 who made 10 or more appearances. Additionally, the Demon Deacons return four players (Nikayla Small, Laurel Ansbrow, Kristin Johnson and Abbie Colton) who competed in all 18 matches last season.
- Offensively, the Deacs return 84.3 percent (27-of-32) of their goal production from a year ago and six of their top seven goal scorers. Additionally, returning players accounted for each of the Demon Deacons' 22 assists from last season.
- Highlighted by the addition of North Carolina transfer Emily Colton and Columbia transfer Paige Nurkin, Wake Forest will add seven newcomers to the program entering the 2024 season. Colton, the twin sister of midfielder Abbie Colton, was a five-star recruit and ranked fifth individually in the 2021 class. During her career at North Carolina, Colton started in all 67 of her appearances, tallying 10 goals and eight assists. Nurkin, a 2023 First Team All-Ivy League selection this past season at Columbia, will add immediate depth at goalkeeper. Nurkin was named Ivy League Defensive Player of the Week three times during the 2023 campaign and led Columbia to the second round of the NCAA Tournament.
