Wake Forest Football Adds Future Home-And-Home Series with Oregon State

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. -- Wake Forest Athletics has announced an update to its future football schedules, securing a home-and-home series with Oregon State, and canceling a planned 2025 matchup at Ole Miss.
"We are committed to making decisions that best serve our program and our student-athletes, and that includes bringing national games to Winston-Salem," said Vice President & Director of Athletics John Currie. "We have a high degree of respect for Ole Miss and their fans, and we congratulate them on their victory last weekend in sold-out Allegacy Stadium. But given the ongoing financial pressures of the new era of college athletics and our priority on continuing to grow resources to benefit our student-athletes, it was the right business decision to secure this two-game home-and-home series with Oregon State, and cancel the planned game in Oxford next year."
Wake Forest will honor the terms of the contract with Ole Miss, which dates back to 2014, and will play at PAC-12 member Oregon State in 2025 with the Beavers then returning to Winston-Salem in 2029, or earlier.
"Having great games against national opponents right here in DEACTOWN is always a priority as we serve our fans, Winston-Salem, and the Triad Community. Oregon State has a respected PAC-12 history and a loyal fan base and we are excited to have them visiting Allegacy Stadium in the near future," said Currie.
Best Fan Experience in North Carolina Awaits Capacity Crowd on Saturday, Sept. 28
Wake Forest will face off with Louisiana on Saturday, Sept. 28 at 3:30 p.m. ET at Allegacy Federal Credit Union Stadium on ACC Network. This marks the first ever matchup between the two schools and is the second year in a row that the Deacs will take on a Sun Belt opponent after capturing a road win over Old Dominion a season ago. This is just the second time in program history that a Sun Belt team will travel to Allegacy Stadium with the only other matchup coming in 2013 against Louisiana-Monroe.
Fans can purchase limited tickets now. Additionally, this will be Family Weekend as Wake Forest welcomes families and parents to Winston-Salem, N.C.

Family Weekend against Louisiana (Sept. 28) and a highly-anticipated matchup against Clemson (Oct. 12) are all going fast so be sure to reserve your spot for those three games. There are limited Family Weekend packages still available that include suite seating among other amenities.
