Bates continues to impress with a standout performance, joined by other Pro Deacs.
WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. - In week three of the 2024 NFL season, Pro Deacs made their return, delivering another series of dominant defensive displays.
Bates III Puts on Defensive Show
Jessie Bates III was a standout for Atlanta's defense this week against the Kansas City Chiefs, notching six tackles including four solo and two assisted while making a pivotal pass breakup to force a fourth down.
Midweek, Bates also earned NFC Defensive Player of the Week for his efforts in the road win at Philadelphia which included the game-winning interception.
Through just three games, he has racked up 24 total tackles, ranking 21st in the NFL and third overall for Atlanta in total tackles (24), solo tackles (17), and assisted tackles (7).
Consistent Performers
Defensive tackle Kobie Turner totaled a career-best five tackles in a Los Angeles Rams 27-24 team victory over the San Francisco 49ers.
Dallas Cowboys cornerback Caelen Carson had a career-high of seven tackles including six solo tackles and one assisted in the Cowboys 28-25 loss to the Baltimore Ravens.
Luke Masterson delivered a reliable defensive outing posting seven tackles including three solo tackles and four assisted tackles in the Raiders 36-22 loss to the Carolina Panthers.
Cornerback Ja'Sir Taylor had three tackles, including two solo and one assisted, earning a 71.3 run-defense PFF grade and a 72.9 overall PFF grade in the Los Angeles Chargers 20-10 loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers.
Light the Dortch
Wide receiver Greg Dortch caught three passes, totaling 35 yards including a 13-yd reception yards in the Cardinals 20-13 loss against the Detroit Lions. Dortch has recorded 11 receptions for a total of 93 yards through three weeks this season.
