Defensive lineman Kobie Turner’s solid defensive performance on Thursday Night Football leads this week’s edition of Pro Deacs.
WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. – Pro Deacs made its triumphant return for week five of the 2025 NFL season, highlighted by Kobie Turner putting together a solid performance on Thursday Night Football and Kenneth Walker continuing his hot start to the season.
Turner Returns to Form on Thursday Night Football
After a slow start to the season, defensive lineman Kobie Turner returned to form with a solid defensive performance on Thursday Night Football as he and the Los Angeles Rams fell to the San Francisco 49ers in overtime. Despite coming out on the losing side, Turner shined for the Rams, accumulating four tackles with one solo effort and half a sack.
Turner, who was named a team captain for a second-consecutive season, has recorded nine tackles with five solo efforts through the first five games of the season. Turner has also added two tackles for loss on the year, including 1.5 sacks.
Walker Continues Hot Start to the Season
Running back Kenneth Walker III continued his hot start to the season on Sunday afternoon as he and the Seattle Seahawks dropped a close game to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers at home. Walker notched 86 yards for the game on just 10 carries, giving him an average of 8.6 yards per attempt against a stout Tampa Bay defense. Walker now ranks in the top-10 in the league with 330 rushing yards for the season while also adding three scores on the ground.
