WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. - Wake Forest returns closes the home portion of the 2025 schedule against Delaware on Saturday, Nov. 22 , with a Noon ET kickoff on The ACC Network.
This Saturday's game will mark only the third meeting all-time between the Demon Deacons and the Fightin' Blue Hens. Wake Forest has bone both of the previous two meetings over Delaware.
The last time that Wake Forest and Delaware met came during the 2006 season, where the Deacs came away with 38-21 win inside Allegacy Federal Credit Union Stadium. The Demon Deacons rushed for 302 yards and four touchdowns, with running back Matt Colburn leading the way with 118 yards and a touchdown. Quarterback John Wolford completed 13 passes for 155 yards and a touchdown pass to wide receiver Alex Bachman, while also adding 71 yards and a touchdown on the ground on just seven carries.
The only other game in the series came in 1932. The Deacs earned a 7-0 win on the road against the Fightin' Blue Hens in the first ever matchup.
