WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. -- Wake Forest Athletics will honor 30 football players, 19 members of the Spirit of the Old Gold & Black, 18 Deacs from the Spirit Squads and two student staffers on Saturday before the football game during Senior Day.
"First and foremost, I want to thank our senior class for everything they've given to Wake Forest Football. This group has laid the foundation for an incredible Year One — their leadership, toughness, and belief in what we're building has pushed this program forward every single day. To our seniors: thank you for leaving our locker room, our culture, and our future better than you found it. I'm incredibly honored to have coached each of you."
"This is a very special group of seniors. Regardless of whether they chose Wake Forest six or seven years ago or 10 months ago, they have built a unique team chemistry and are creating memories that will last a lifetime both for themselves and all of Demon Deacon Nation," said Vice President & Director of Athletics John Currie. "From our football players to the members of Spirit of the Old Gold & Black, spirit squads and student staffers, we are proud to honor these seniors who through their leadership, dedication and commitment have elevated Wake Forest University and made a lasting impact on the Winston-Salem community."
Several football student-athletes being honored on Saturday have completed or will complete their degrees in December 2025 or May 2026, but have remaining eligibility.
