With the No. 4 seed, Wake Forest earned its highest ACC regular season finish since the 2008-09 season.

CHARLOTTE, N.C. - Following a program-tying 13 conference regular season victories, the Wake Forest men's basketball team has secured a double-bye in the 2025 T. Rowe Price ACC Men's Basketball Tournament and the No. 4 seed. The Demon Deacon will await either No. 5 North Carolina, No. 12 Notre Dame or No. 13 Pitt on Thursday afternoon at 2:30 p.m. from the Spectrum Center in Charlotte, N.C.

This marks the program's first-ever double bye in the ACC Tournament under the current format and the highest regular season finish since the 2008-09 season.

In January, the Demon Deacons and Tar Heels met at LJVM Coliseum with Wake Forest scoring a 67-66 victory. Wake Forest also faced Pitt and Notre Dame in Winston-Salem, with the Deacs defeating the Panthers 76-74 on Feb. 1 before downing the Fighting Irish 74-71 on March 1.

Regular Season Recap

With six victories on the road in conference play, Wake Forest also tied the program record for ACC road wins in a single season. In February, the Deacs became the only ACC program to sweep the West Coast swing with victories over Stanford and Cal.

Overall, the Deacs have won 47 ACC games since 2021-22 – most in a four-year span in program history – and the team's 61 home wins during that span is tied for the fourth-most nationally.
