Colvin adds a versatile and athletic presence to the Wake Forest roster following two seasons with Purdue.
WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. - Wake Forest men's basketball has announced the addition of Myles Colvin, a dynamic guard from Indiana who spent his first two seasons at Purdue.
"Myles brings terrific size and athleticism to our backcourt, along with the burning desire to improve as a player, compete, and win," said head coach Steve Forbes. "He gained invaluable on the court experience over the past two years at Purdue, highlighted by him playing 12 minutes in the National Championship game vs. UCONN as a freshman. Myles can shoot the three, finish at the rim, and defend multiple positions on the court. We are very excited that he chose to be a Demon Deacon!"
In two seasons at Purdue, Colvin appeared in 67 contests with eight starts, averaging 4.4 points per game while making 65 three-point attempts.
All of his starts came during the 2024-25 season, as he was inserted into the starting lineup throughout the month of December and scored a career-high 20 points – including the game-winning basket – in a victory over No. 23 Ole Miss. Additionally, he scored 14 against Nebraska and 11 against Indiana this past season.
During his sophomore season, the Indianapolis native appeared in 36 games total with eight starts to help lead Purdue to the Sweet 16 as he averaged more than five points per contest. Colvin reached double digits in scoring five times and was a key rotational piece for the Boilermakers in the postseason.
As a freshman during the 2023-24 season, Colvin played in 31 games including 12 minutes in the NCAA National Championship game against UConn.
For the season, Colvin shot 44 percent from the field and 41.4 percent from three-point territory (24-of-58).
