The talented forward comes to Winston-Salem with two years of ACC experience.

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. -- Wake Forest men's soccer has announced the addition of Ethan Subachan to the team's roster. A talented attacking threat, Subachan has previous ACC experience with Louisville and earned a US U19 Youth National Team training camp selection as a highly-sought prospect coming out of high school.

"Ethan is a player that we have known for a long time and have competed against," said head coach Bobby Muuss. "He is a soccer junkie that loves to train and has valued experience with Orlando City, the US National team and, of course, playing in ACC–the best soccer conference in the country. He has a high soccer IQ and not only can score goals, but he has the ability to find good pockets between lines and helps facilitate the attack."

In his two seasons at Louisville, Subachan appeared in 34 matches with 20 starts, recording 14 points off five goals and four assists in nearly 1,500 minutes of action.

During his sophomore season in 2024, Subachan appeared in 16 matches with 15 starts as his nine points were second-most for the Cardinals. He scored three goals including two in ACC play (Notre Dame and Clemson) and recorded three assists.

As a freshman, the Cooper City, Fla., native played in 18 matches with five starts to score two goals – including a 79th-minute game-winner against Evansville – along with an assist.

Prior to his time at Louisville, Subachan went through Orlando City SC's academy system and helped lead the team to the 2021 U17 MLS NEXT Cup finals in penalties.

Subachan is the latest addition to a talented incoming group of Demon Deacons. Transfers Harvey Sarajian and Tate Lorentz along with freshman Chandler Young enrolled at Wake Forest in January as the incoming class once again ranks highly nationally by TopDrawerSoccer.

Muuss and the Wake Forest coaching staff are still looking to finalize the 2025 roster as the Demon Deacons are coming off the program's fourth ACC Championship and an appearance in the Elite Eight.
