
Deacs Announce Final 2025-26 Signee, Nicholas Prieto

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C.- The Wake Forest men's golf team announced the signing of Nicholas Prieto, a rising junior from Arizona State University. The Miami, Fla. native will be the final addition to the 2025-26 roster.
During his freshman season as a Sun Devil, Preito claimed his first collegiate title at the Oregon State Invitational with a final score of 209 (-4), shooting his lowest career round in round one with a 68 (-3) and stacking on to his three top-20 finishes. Last season, Preito picked up another two top-20 finishes.
Prior to Arizona State University, Prieto claimed the 58th Junior Orange Bowl International Golf Championships in 2022 by two strokes. Alongside Prieto, 2025 freshman signee Lorenzo Rodriguez is the second incoming Demon Deacon to win the Junior Orange Bowl International Golf Championship.
Additionally, Wake Forest has had an individual champion three of the last four years at the Junior Orange Bowl International Golf Championship.
