The 2025-26 schedule features 10 events, one of which is hosted by the Demon Deacons
WINSTON-SALEM, N.C.- The Wake Forest men's golf team has released their 2025-26 schedule, including 10 events across the fall and spring seasons.
The newly unveiled schedule includes familiar tournaments where the Demon Deacons have experienced success and new tournaments with opportunities to provide A World Class Student-Athlete Experience.
Fall Season
Wake Forest will tee up their fall schedule close to home, starting off the season at the Bryan National Collegiate in Greensboro on September 6th.
The Deacs will look to reclaim their titles at two events this fall. In their last outings at the Highlands Invitational and Steelwood Collegiate in 2023 and 2018 respectively, the Deacs claimed both the team and individual titles. The Highlands Invitational is set to begin on September 15th in Chicago.
Making their way up the coast to one of the top courses in New York, the Demon Deacon make their return to the Maidstone Club for the seventh-annual Hamptons Intercollegiate, set to start on October 6th.
The first inaugural Bryson Invitational starting October 13th includes 15 teams across nine conferences, giving the Deacs a strong opportunity to compete in the fall.
The Steelwood Collegiate, meanwhile, will close the fall season on October 25th.
Spring Season
The Deacs will begin the spring portion of the season in picturesque tropical settings, with their first tournament of the 2026 calendar year at the Palmas del Mar Collegiate in Puerto Rico.
Wake Forest will then head out West for back-to-back tournaments in California. The Prestige will start February 16th and the Desimone Invitational will begin on March 9th.
Closing out the month of March, the Deacs' annual trip to the Valspar Intercollegiate will include a competitive and prominent field to help the Deacs prepare for postseason play.
Finishing the regular season, the Invitational at the Ford will give the Demon Deacons one final opportunity to prepare for competitive postseason competition.
The Postseason
The ACC Championship will return to a familiar course this year, as the Deacs will compete against their conference foes at the Shark's Tooth Golf Club in Panama City, Fla. In 2022 at the same course, Wake Forest captured the ACC title, the first under head coach Jerry Haas. The tournament will begin on April 23rd and the final championship match will be on April 27th.
Wake Forest will then be one of six host sites for the NCAA Regionals, playing at Bermuda Run Country Club in Winston-Salem. NCAA Regional play will run from May 18th-20th.
The NCAA Championships will be back at the Omni La Costa Resort & Spa in Carlsbad, Calif. from May 29th- June 3rd.
About Wake Forest Men's Golf
The Deacs finished the NCAA Championship with a final score of 1183 (+31) landing them a 15th place finish among the nation's top-30 teams.
For the first time since 2021, the Demon Deacons advanced to the final round of stroke play after a thrilling morning playoff victory against Georgia Tech. The playoff win was highlighted by rising juniors Kyle Haas and Tom Haberer, who each sank 20-foot or longer putts for birdie to help the Deacs advance into Monday's final stroke play round.
This marks the 14th NCAA Championship appearance under the direction of head coach Jerry Haas including the fifth in the last six years. Additionally, it marks the third time since 2019 that the Demon Deacons have finished inside the top 15 or better.
The Demon Deacons claimed their first title of the 2024-25 season winning the Lyon's Links Invitational by twelve strokes in Dublin, Ireland, turning in a 54-hole score of 833 (-31) and tying for ninth lowest 54-hole score to par in program history.
Wake Forest had a historic final round to punch their ticket to NCAA Championships, recording a score of 265 (-15). The total score is the second lowest in program history, lowest postseason total score and to-par score in program history.
Over the 2024-25 season, the Deacs picked up eight top-5 finishes over 13 events.
