CHARLOTTE, N.C. – The Atlantic Coast Conference and The CW have announced kickoff times and the broadcast information for Week 6 of the 2025 season.
Wake Forest will face off with Virginia Tech on Saturday, Oct. 4 with kickoff at Lane Stadium set for 1 p.m. on The CW, the first time this season Wake Forest will play on the network.
Additionally, this is the first time this season the Demon Deacons will have a 1 p.m. kickoff time. The Deacs and Hokies have only faced off eight times since 1984, with this contest being the 52nd meeting in series history.
Wake Forest last defeated Virginia Tech during a memorable 23-16 win against the nationally-ranked Hokies in 2020. The Deacs were led defensively by freshman walk-on Nick Andersen, who recorded three interceptions for the first time since 1987 and led the team in tackles with 11. Senior defensive end Boogie Basham extended his streak of consecutive games with a tackle for loss to 23 in the fourth quarter. Basham also tallied nine tackles for the Deacs.
Great Value Remains for 2025 Home Season
Single-game tickets can also be purchased for the remaining four exciting home games at Allegacy Stadium against Georgia Tech (Sept. 27), SMU (Oct. 25), North Carolina (Nov. 15) and Delaware (Nov. 22).
