
Wake Forest to Host ESPN SportsCenter Live from Hearn Plaza on Sept. 11

The 2 p.m. ET broadcast to showcase Demon Deacon spirit, campus traditions, and game day atmosphere ahead of NC State matchup.
WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. – ESPN's SportsCenter will air live from Hearn Plaza at the heart of the Wake Forest University campus on Thursday, Sept. 11, with anchor Matt Barrie hosting the 2 p.m. hour in front of Wait Chapel.
Barrie's edition of 'SC on Campus' comes in advance of that evening's football game between the Demon Deacons and longtime rival NC State, the second-longest consecutively played series in college football dating back to 1910. Kickoff is set for 7:30 p.m. at Allegacy Federal Credit Union Stadium on ESPN.
Fans, students, and the Winston-Salem community are invited to gather on Hearn Plaza beginning at 1:30 p.m. to be part of the live show, which will highlight the unique traditions, history, and hospitality of Wake Forest and the Triad region. Members of the Wake Forest cheer and dance teams, the Spirit of the Old Gold & Black Marching Band, and the Demon Deacon mascot will also be on site to create a lively gameday atmosphere.

Special Campus Edition of The Jake Dickert Show Set for Sept. 9 on Manchester Plaza
Wake Forest students and fans are invited to join a special on-campus edition of The Jake Dickert Show on Tuesday, Sept. 9 at 7:00 p.m. on Manchester Plaza. The weekly radio program, hosted by the Voice of the Demon Deacons Stan Cotten alongside head football coach Jake Dickert, will broadcast live from Reynolda Campus as part of NC State week.
This free event offers the campus community the chance to experience the show in person, celebrate Deacon spirit, and take part in unique activities around the broadcast. Fans can also listen across the Wake Forest Sports Network, on the Wake Forest Athletics app, and via social media streams.

- Those in attendance will receive various giveaways and an enjoyable experience for this national audience on ESPN to view.
