Deacs Clinch 2026 ACC Tournament Berth

With a win on Sunday against Boston College and other results around the league, the Wake Forest women’s basketball team clinched its spot in the 2026 ACC Tournament which is set to take place at GasSouth Arena in Duluth, Ga. from March 4-8.
WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. – Get excited Deacon Nation! The Wake Forest women's basketball team clinched a berth to the 2026 ACC Tournament Sunday afternoon.
The Demon Deacons grabbed a key 79-65 victory on the road at Boston College Sunday afternoon for their fourth win so far in conference play. Additionally with the other results around the league, the Deacs punched their ticket to postseason play.
Wake Forest will begin their tournament run on Tuesday, March 4 and will either be the No. 14 seed, playing against the No. 11 seed in the 4:00 p.m. matchup or the No. 15 seed playing against the No. 10 seed in the 1:30 p.m. matchup. The first round will air on ACC Network.
The ACC Tournament runs from March 4-8 and for the first season will be played at GasSouth Arena in Duluth, Ga.
Wake Forest has had memorable runs in recent history, reaching the quarterfinal round in the 2020, 2021 and 2023 ACC Tournaments and has won at least one game in the tournament in each of the last five tournament appearances.
The full bracket, matchups and game times will be announced the night of Sunday, March 1. The ACC Tournament will air on ACC Network with the semifinals and championship being televised on ESPN2.
