Three Deacs finished inside the top 30 on the individual leaderboard
RICHMOND HILL, Ga. – After posting the lowest round of the day among the 12-team field, the Wake Forest men's golf team rallied back in the final round to finish fourth in their regular season finale at the Ford Collegiate.
As the biggest movers on the leaderboard, climbing six spots in the final round, the Demon Deacons recorded the third-lowest 18-hole score since 1976, carding a 266 (-14). Wake Forest finished ahead of three teams ranked inside the top 25 nationally, including No. 16 Oklahoma, No. 19 Georgia Tech and No. 23 Georgia.
This is the sixth top-5 finish as a team for Wake Forest over the 2025-26 season.

Junior Nicholas Prieto carded a closing-round 66 (-4), helping lead the Deacs' final push up the leaderboard. He finished tied for 21st at three-under par.
Moving up 20 spots on the individual leaderboard, junior Kyle Haas posted a low 65 (-5) to earn his best finish of the spring, tying for 26th at one-under. Haas went bogey-free through his first 10 holes of the day and tallied six birdies in his final round.

From Coach Haas:
"To be an elite team, you have to deliver standout rounds like we did today and we're very proud of the guys. We talked last night and said regardless, whether we move up or not, let's have a day to remember. Shooting 14 under and having the low round of the day is a good way to end the week. Big thanks to Chris Hurd, the Wake Forest baseball legend, for hosting us this week right here on property. What an awesome event, as this is one of the premier events of the spring. The Ford Field & River Club is a great golf course, hosting a wonderful field and it's nice to be included. There's lots of good golf ahead, and we will continue to build on this as we head towards the postseason. Go Deacs!"
